It was a last minute search on the internet that I learnt about Ratchada Night Market (or Bazaar most understood in Thailand). I quickly note down the details of RNM in my diary (which I always carries with me no matter where I go) and off to the airport we go. On Saturday which is the busiest night of RNM, we decided to pay it a visit. Based on my short term memory, I told Al that we need to take the BTS and alight at Ratchadewi Station (40 Bhat per person). When we reached the station, Al took a quick look at the surronding environment and asked me if I was sure this is the correct station cos the place looked the least happening. I immediately do a quick check on my diary and realised that its not Ratchadewi nor Ratchadamri but RATCHADAPISEK Station (MRT). WAHHHHHHH!!!!! I need directions!!! We went to the station control and had some luck to have a staff who knows English and who knows how to get to RNM. She told us that in order to Ratchadapisek Station we have to take the BTS to Mo Chit (where Chatuchak Market is!! Its pretty far and that’s another 40 Bhat) and then changed to the MRT which is just next to the Mo Chit Station.
We are all travelers in the wilderness of this world, and the best we can find in our travels is an honest friend. -Robert Louis Stevenson Ah, travel…travel. All we wanted was a short escape to yet another urban chaos of a city that is kl.

I’m back from my last winter walking trip with the school (to the Lakes), and it was quite definitely one of the best trips I have been on! Here are some things I picked up on when I was there – hopefully this will be useful for whenever I next go hiking in winter. Ice Formation We noticed this rather interesting phenomenon on the first day on Skiddaw (931 m): This is actually just a wire fence – it's quite incredible. Apparently the reason for this is that as the wind blows across an object, little bits of water vapour condense on the surface of the object

Went to Peru in September and saw some amazing wildlife in the Amazon River Basin . But will the Rio Madre De Dios survive humans . The Washington Post talks about the dangers of nearby strip mining to the environment.
I’ll be leaving again for another 2 weeks – some in Mexico. This will be the last post for 2009.
No, the dog is not that LARGE. Fisheye lenses have always been a bit difficult to figure out and most photographers don’t get beyond the relegation of this type of lens to the “don’t have to have” bin.
