This is actually a picture from my last trip to San Diego, which was also in January.  It looked just as gorgeous today!  What a perfect place for a quick getaway from the hustle and bustle of LA.  Why couldn’t West LA look more like this?

PhD Update: Meeting with the Thesis Observation Committee

Gold and the Rickshaw Fatty…(and see you in 2010)

No I did not forget to close out my bloggy-blog for 2009, so off we go with the final installment of India 2006 ( most recent and earlier posts here). A two-week trip in India is not that long at all. Too short to get properly acquainted with the way bread tastes so different (but delicious), yet long enough to fall ill in that special agonizing way (chills, diarrhea and puking, it’s a party!)
