Salto Angel, located in the Canaima National Park, with a jet ‘of water about 1050 meters, is the highest waterfall in the world and is an’ outstanding natural beauty (15 times higher than Niagara Falls!). In 1935, an adventurous American pilot, while he was searching for a huge mine d ‘oro, discovered the waterfall called Salto Angel by Indians or “Churun Meru.” L ‘impressive waterfall descends dall’Auayantepuy, which is the largest of Tepuy Canaima with an area of 700 square km, known as the “Mountain of the Devil” or “Massive Guayanese”.
