Isla Margarita is the largest island of Venezuela made up of two islands joined dall’istmo of Arapana and is approximately 45 minutes by plane from Caracas. E ‘famous for its beautiful beaches and the possibility to go shopping, since the entire island is free port. Since it was the first island to be opened to tourism is also the richest in hotels, restaurants and nightclubs. E ‘infatti famous for its electrifying nightlife. Given the beautiful location, is ideal place every month of the year. Suitable for all, both families that single groups of friends.

Useful Information
Documents: For Italian citizens must have passport with minimum validity of at least 6 months. It ‘also needed for the development of the tourist card will be delivered directly by the airline before landing.

Language: The official language is Spanish, but English and Italian are fairly common.
Remember: the sun is very strong so it is advisable to obtain a high protection cream, sunglasses, hat and clothes very informal.

Shopping: Isla Margarita is free port so we bought very well. To remember to buy chocolate because it is said that Venezuela produces the best cocoa in the world.

Airport Taxes: never including local airport taxes but shall be payable on the spot and correspond to about VEF 115 per person for international flights and VEF 23 per person per way for domestic flights.
